POLAR
Founded as “Adolf Mohr Maschinenfabrik” in 1906, Polar started its production of cutting machines for the wood and metal industry. The year 1949 marks the beginning of their cooperation with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, and their start in the printing industry.
Polar adapted itself very early to the changes in the printing industry and became market leader regarding the electronic communication. With the network software “Compucut”, all Polar cutting machines and systems became an integral part of networked print shops. These systems have been automated continuously and today require almost no personnel.
Polar offers complete systems as well as single components for the cutting process. These are divided into:
systems with joggers and without joggers.
